Air Jordan 15

The Air Jordan 15 was released in 1999-2000 but was never worn by Jordan himself in an NBA game. The design of the Air Jordan 15 originated from the futuristic X-15 fighter jet developed by NASA during the 1950’s. The tongue of the shoe stuck out parallel to the ground. Many wondered if this was to resemble Jordan’s famous facial expression while soaring through the air.Sadly, the high expectations for the Jordan 15 to sell well were not met.

They feature a white upper constructed from leather and woven mesh, which is really the most interesting part about the shoe. Besides that, the shoe is not really cared for too much, as they feature a shabby design, which includes? a loose midsole, allowing for the wearer’s ankle to turn easily on a sharp turn or cut. The inspirations behind these come from the ultra fast X-15 Fighter Plane. Others believe that they are cheap Prada knockoffs, as they feature the red strip running vertically down the heel counter. Many refer to the as the ugliest Air Jordans to date, and they?re right. Other problems specifications include a hidden lace system, seamless dynamic fit sleeve and Zoom Air insoles. They also feature an injected TPR external heel counter for additional support. The outsole is constructed from two pieces with extended wraps, as well...

Air Jordan Retro 15 Black Varsity Red

The Air Jordan 15 (XV) Retro - Black / Varsity Red were released on November 15, 2007, and retailed for $150. They feature an all black upper constructed from full grain leather, as well as a woven material which runs across the top half of the upper. The heel counter also features a red strip which runs vertically down it. The extension of the tongue is said to be inspired by Michael Jordan himself, as he would always stick out his tongue when he just about to skool you. The shoe itself is said to be inspired by the ultra fast X-15 Fighter Jet, which was developed by NASA during the 1950’s, but it’s hard to see the resemblance, as all we see is a very ugly shoe. Although the shoe’s midsole fits loosing, which makes the wearer prone to ankle sprains, the shoe features other specifications include a hidden lace system, seamless dynamic fit sleeve and Zoom Air insoles. They also feature an injected TPR external heel counter for...
